On Thursday, 28 August, 12:00-14:00, a travel agent will be on the
conference site to help reconfirm return flights for participants.
20 August
Long-distance registration has closed! The electronic registration form has
been removed. There will be the opportunity for limited
walk-in registration at the conference desk. There is the likelihood,
though, that latecomers will have to omit the conference banquet
since, at present, all seats have been taken.
The page Map of Passau contains a
new and significantly smaller PostScript map of Passau and the conference
location which you can hopefully print. Beware - decoding may take 5 min and if
your printer complains it's running out of memory!

Immigration procedures on the river cruise will be handled
unbureaucratically. The boat will go into Austria, but our party will
not go on shore. No visas will be required.

We are happy to annonce that we can now offer a limited number of
travel grants for attendants from the
countries of Eastern Europe, and also for young researchers and
students.
